Electronic Studios - Then

The UA Electronic Music Studios occupy a suite of rooms near the west end of the Moody Music Building on the second floor.

The studios have changed dramatically since they opened in 1987. Here are a few archival images.

Studio A, c. 1990. A bit of the vintage Synclavier installation is visible.

Studio C, c. 1990. The machine on the left is a Sperry V77 computer. It was used here for many years. These days, Studio C is a fully-equipped MIDI studio.

A better picture of the V77. Those aren't pie pans on top.
