Student Solo Recital
Audition Requirements

This audition is open to all students attending Crimson Music Camp the week of June 15 - 21. Students who plan to audition for the Student Solo Recital and are preparing music that includes piano accompaniment must perform with an accompanist. An accompanist will be provided - free of charge - for the audition. To assist us in providing the best accompaniment for your solo we need you to mail the piano part so it arrives in the CMS office no later than June 2. Be sure to write your name on the music and note your performance tempo. Students are encouraged to prepare complete movements or pieces (unaccompanied or accompanied if required) from their instruments' standard repertoire. Of the students selected to perform on the Student Solo Recital, two will receive half-tuition scholarships and one will receive a full-tuition scholarship to attend Crimson Music Camp, 2009. This audition will be held Monday afternoon and is closed to the public. Students must sign-up for an audition time when they check-in on the first day of camp.
